I think month is too long. After the guild meeting and forums we need to decision and reopen the recruitment. If we do not make decision soon and we wait for month nothing will be done. We need to figure out recruitment and make a decide now not month later.

Hello everyone! As you know, we occasionally close recruitment when applications pile up, or when everyone is too busy to keep up with applications. The past few days have been busy and the following weeks we are also expecting to be busy because of exams and so we've closed recruitment to give us more time to spend with the new members and new applicants!

We will open recruitment again when we feel that we are in good condition to facilitate new members and applicants!

The reason for it is that It's getting close to college finals weeks for many council members. They need to focus on their studies and having applications constantly going on could be a distraction to them. That's why Cyril said we'd open it in a month. It's more in the line of timing and academics.
