What I want to know is do max damage enchants mean the same thing as weapon max damage?
Example-
Lets say you have 2 of the same sword, one of them has wolf hunter enchant with +4 max damage, the other sword is upgraded with a max damage 4 increase
Are the swords technically equal in power?

Ya I believe they are equal in power! I don't see why they wouldn't be.
ah but if you are dual wielding and you are to choose between putting a damage enchant on one of your swords or your hat/glove/armor/boots, it's better to enchant that damage enchant into one of your hat/glove/armor/boots I believe since the damage will be added to both of your swords rather than enchanting on one sword which only increases the damage of one sword.

It does not say this anywhere, but it has been tested, but +damage enchants also effect alchemy
Test : Animist : did 1 with his wind blast naked
Animist : Did 50 with his wind blast using his damage set
