This topic is answered here
I installed mods for about 15 mintues and deleted Mabinogi and reinstalled it to be completely clean of mods.
I log on to see a fricken demented giants.
I went on Mabimods.net to see the problem and people say it's the data folder in C:/Nexon/Mabinogi.
If Anyone who has correct Giant renewals can compress that folder and send me it through mediafire, that'd be great. :S
Edit: Heres the link to mediafire
http://www.mediafire.com/
Edit again: ALSO, before you compress it copy and paste the folder into your documents and compress the seprate folder there.
DO NOT COMPRESS YOUR FOLDER IN YOUR MABINOGI FOLDER

that happened to me on my other computer. my giant looked like the old giant style... but with googly eyes D: luckily, i had my laptop with mabi on there to copy the files i needed to fix it. i didn't copy the data folder though, because it wasn't the mods that was screwing it up, it was the clean mabi install on my other computer. i copied over the files in the package folder and it worked for me. did you want those?

I know it wasn't the mods, I had to reinstall the client.
That's what caused the problem xD

I heard most likely it was C:/Nexon/Mabinogi/data
Since thats the folder that holds the giants.
I believe the package folder was for mods or something not sure.

the data folder only exists because of mods though. the mods read from the data folder if u have it enabled in your mod settings. well anyways, im uploading all the package files except language.pack (don't think you need it) and 63_full.pack (too large). they'll be done uploading in a few minutes.

Actually, I think the package folder was the thing made for mods.
Since Backup files/things are in documents.
butt ehh whatever I'm not much of the techy person. XD
I just hope your fix works. :3

Here's the .pack files. If these don't work, then I'm 80% sure that what you need is the 63_full.pack. I'm not sure how you'd get that since it's practically 1 gig big...
but anyways, just copy and paste these into your package folder and override everything.
hope this helps D:

Yeah that didn't work Q.Q
Try sending me the data folder.. I wanna see if thats the problem >.<
Edit: the Game launcher just gets rid of the earlier files, reverts it back to the v69 and language package.

Dang, too bad that didn't work
The data folder is installed when installing mods. It doesn't exist in a clean mabi install, and if it did it means that mods were installed previously.
But here's my data folder if you want it. I've deleted a few things inside it since I don't like using some of the mods. It's uploaded to the mediafire. What I recommend is deleting your data folder, or moving somewhere else for the time being, and then putting mine instead. However, if you don't have mods installed then you won't see any difference.
Also, the patcher initially deleted those files like it did yours, but I pasted those files again and somehow it managed to stay and has worked since then.
