Baaaaaaaa. So I thought about running a pointless, monthly money give away called the Apple Exchange. I'm still figuring out some of the exponential formula for this but, the basic idea is that when the day comes, the first person to trade with me gets gold. This amount of gold is dependent on the amount of apples he/she is trading (Please note that I've said exponential formula :D). Ofcourse, I'm gonna hide to make this annoying, and put a limit to the amount of gold I'll give (1 mil). I figured out I need ~5 hours to make that kind of money but a month is FINE Xx;
Think of this as hide and seek with a variable prize dependent on the winner's inventory :D
Baaa. So every month, (whenever I decide to hold it), players have to find me. Ofcourse, this day will be announced in advance, so to let players prepare their apples. The first person to TRADE with me gets his or her prize, which will determined by the amount of apples they trade. The amount of gold received by apples is an exponential function. In mathematical terms, g = b^a, where g is gold and a is amount of apples (I have yet to determine b, which is the base of the exponent Xx;). Also, apples received in the FIRST trade will only be counted. Futhermore, the limit of gold one can receive is 1 mil.

The thing with this is that you want it possible to get 1mil... if you make the base 10, then 6 apples will get you that... that seems way too easy.
Doing a base of 2 means that 20 apples gets you to 1,048,576 which is just above a mil and will be rounded down.
We could even lower it by having a function like 1,000,000 = x^y where y is equal to the number of apples you want to be traded. In that way, you could put 30 in for y and find that y = 1.584 (rounding down)
Of course, you could make it a whopping 60 apples (full inventory) for the full 1m...
