It does not say this anywhere, but it has been tested, but +damage enchants also effect alchemy

Test : Animist : did 1 with his wind blast naked
Animist : Did 50 with his wind blast using his damage set

Ya I believe they are equal in power! I don't see why they wouldn't be.

ah but if you are dual wielding and you are to choose between putting a damage enchant on one of your swords or your hat/glove/armor/boots, it's better to enchant that damage enchant into one of your hat/glove/armor/boots I believe since the damage will be added to both of your swords rather than enchanting on one sword which only increases the damage of one sword.

What I want to know is do max damage enchants mean the same thing as weapon max damage?

Example-

Lets say you have 2 of the same sword, one of them has wolf hunter enchant with +4 max damage, the other sword is upgraded with a max damage 4 increase

Are the swords technically equal in power?
