There were trolls before that site even existed. (Iono why people even think that site is old.)

Good example of a real life troll: When Hideo Kojima went on the E3 stage I think last year to announce the new Metal Gear game for Xbox 360. As all the Xbots in the audience anticipated a port of MGS4 to 360, Hideo took the mic proclaiming, "Oh, I never said anything about SNAKE!" right before announcing a new Raiden game for the 360.

Also, just about anything Masahiro Sakurai does... SAKURAIIIIII!!!!!!!!
